St. Augustine is an outsized character in western history, maybe the most significant dude since Plato.  Why? Sure his teaching on sin and grace insipred Luther and the Protestant tradition, but what about his social and political thought?  The question on today's show is not whether or not everything is going to be ok, but what might things be like in the meantime, in the wasteland?
